She received a gift as appreciation for her presence from Jim Yang, Managing director of AICL.

For the first time in many years, the Blind Callaway format of scoring system was used. It is believed that by getting away from the usual handicapping system, there will be more participants specially the new comers. Although, this will entail a lot of time to summarise scores and determine the winners who are mostly done by count back.

Dodee Leones, President of ParE Social Golf club would like to thank all the officers and members, the participants, volunteers and sponsors of the 8th AICL Edcucation  Cup golf tournament. "The success of this tournament depends on all of your concerted efforts" he finally said.

Meanwhile, the participants in the 62nd Fil-Am Invitational Golf tournament in Baguio city on November 26 to December 11 are now ready to fly to Manila. Three teams for Seniors and two teams for Open divisions are slated to battle in this now considered the 2nd longest and biggest golf tournament in the Philippines today.
